At CDR, we believe that all children deserve to reach their full potential, no matter what their challenges may be.
Begun in 1965 Child Development Resources now serves more than 1,100 families a year in Williamsburg, James City County, York County, and Poquoson.
These children and families face a number of challenges, including disabilities, developmental delays, poverty, homelessness, and other special needs. Our goal is that every child, no matter what the challenges, reaches his or her full potential.
CDR also serves families, children, and professionals through its Training Program and Virginia Infant & Toddler Specialist Network (VA ITSN). We help to increase the quality of child care centers and family day care homes, provide training in early literacy, and offer professional development opportunities for all early childhood professionals.
